First I received the call about what will be done and the cost, then I told Joe I have Costco discount. Joe said he will deduct it from my bill. Here is my concern: 1. It is a simple burned fuse problem, any experienced mechanic person knew the first thing is to check the fuse box. If they do that they can find the burn fuse right away and just replace it and see if it will fix the problem. If it does, there is no reason to do any diagnosis. If it is nice to do the diagnosis but necessary to fix the problem, they should have told me and let me to make the decision whether to do it or not. 2. When on the phone, I was told the diagnosis is about $70 some dollars, but the invoice shows $125. So once I use Costco discount, the cost of diagnosis has to go up? If that is the case, I will inform Costco about this practice, since it is not a member benefit at all 3. Replace a burn fuse is a simple process, Why there is a charge of Shop supplies for $19.28? Is this common practice for any repair? Please address these issues, otherwise I lost my confidence to HONEST-1 Auto!

I've had my car repaired here two or three times. The technician that helped me most recently was very friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable.

Oil change

They will charge $130 for each little thing you want looked at, even when you tell them an engine code and it's correct but they still charged for that? I had to pay 350$ just for them to "diagnose" like 3 things. It's a horrible shop and I would not recommend.

This place doesn’t honor their appointments. My first attempt to get an appointment was online on 4/10/23 by filling out the form. On 4/15/23 I still hadn’t heard back, so I stopped in and they made an appointment for the next Monday at 4:30pm for an A/C recharge. Showed right on time for my appointment and they said, “sorry, our guy is leaving at 5pm and won’t have time to do the work.” They didn’t bother to try and call me or anything. Just wasted time filling out their online form and made two trips into the shop and they just sent me away saying they didn’t have time to honor the appointment with a shrug. Lesson = Not so Honest 1. Definitely will bring my business elsewhere.

Great professional service ! They addressed what needed to be done and made recommendations for things that will be needing service in the future . They clearly understand what it takes to build a relationship with a repeat customer .

Their name should be “take my money and run” instead of honest 1. I thought getting an oil change here would be like any other place @ $30-$40 TOTAL like other places I’ve been to w no issues at all. This place wants $80 for a damn oil change. And apparently that’s their “base price”. Def never going here ever again. I needed an oil change and thought I’d give this place a shot but boy does their name really fool you. Do NOT go here they overcharge for an oil change, I don’t even want to know what all their other services cost if this is way more than it should be, way more than anywhere else. A dealership only costs $45 total for an oil change w top off of all fluids.
