I called the Honest-1 in New Brighton for a price estimate because I thought I needed new brake pads and rotors. The price I was quoted was comparable to those I received at other auto repair shops. They were able to get my car in right away. Upon inspection, the mechanic determined that my pads and rotors were fine but suggested I get a brake fluid exchange. I was happy that Honest-1 did not perform work that was not needed (i.e. pads and rotors) and I ultimately decided to go ahead and get new brake fluid. My only complaint is that when I called for the initial quote, I was not told that there would be an additional charge for the brake inspection plus other fees like haz waste disposal and shop fees. I wish repair places would instead give an "all-in" estimate so there are no hidden charges.
