At first, I thought these guys were fantastic the first time I brought my car here. My car would randomly die. They said I needed a new alternator, so I replaced that. I picked up my car and it was fine for about a day. Then it started doing the same thing again. Brought it back and they told me they put in a bad alternator and they need to replace it. Got my car back again, worked for about a day without problems. Then the problems started back up again. I brought it back for a third time. It sat there for 2 days and they told me they couldn’t get it to fail and can’t figure out what is wrong with it. Told me abunch of lies of stuff they did, but In reality they didn’t even try and brushed me off. I went and picked it up and brought it to a different repair shop and they fixed it in less then a day. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Service was fast and efficient. I feel the cost for an oil change was excessive—and I had a $15 off Coupon!

My truck wouldn't stay running. So I called AAA and they towed it to Honest-1. They diagnosed my problem and made the needed repairs. The whole process was smooth and hassle free. The warranty and discount are nice as well. Thank You, Todd Hari

I got towed to Honest 1 Auto Care after breaking down on 694. The issue ended up being caused by work done by another mechanic. They got the car done and it is working good. Due to their evaluation the other mechanic is reimbursing me for the repairs

Quick service but they also list all other non-essential fixes also. Very courteous prices were moderate to slightly high.

Honest 1 New Brighton has always done great work on my Suburban. They diagnose issues and give me a list of issues so I can decide what work I want them to do and what work I can do myself. They diagnosed my bad transfer case that two other shops missed which they will be replacing for me eventually. They replaced the Axle seal, removed and replaced throttle body screw (I broke). They could have said I damaged the manifold after tightening the throttle body screw too tightly, but they didn't. They are HONEST and they stand behind their work for THREE years. I have only seen shops warranty their work for two years. Some shops don't warranty any work. And every time they do work on my car, I have had a loner vehicle to drive. I just keep the loner car clean, replace the gas I used and pickup my vehicle with the comfort of knowing the work was done correctly. Now my family brings their cars and trucks to this Honest 1 location. It's further out than the St Paul location, but they have proven themselves to be very trustworthy. I work hard for my money and know it is well spent here. Jeff, Joe, and Technician Trevor, you guys are awesome!! A well-kept vehicle can save lives.
